Gündoğan, literally meaning sun rise, from its Greek original Farilya, is a quiet and lovely beachtown, located about 10 miles Northwest of downtown Bodrum. While all water sports activities, such as windsurfing, parasailing, are available on the beach, Gündoğan remains as one of the few quiet and peaceful bays in the Bodrum peninsula. |

You will also find many small specialty shops, restaurants, drinking establishments and a couple night clubs on the beach. Gündoğan, due to its relative tranquility, peacefulness and upscale accommodation facilities, is frequently visited by dignitaries and diplomats. |
